Athene is improving their Firelight suitability experience to help reduce the amount of NIGO status updates!
Their software will now work harder to catch common NIGO’s prior to the application being submitted, their calculators will work more efficiently to help with final verifications as well as “Hard Stop” flags on certain questions to let you know which questions MUST be answered.
There of course will still be suitability reviews done by real officials and experts, however these front end software updates are to help aid agents in making sure their applications get submitted in as good of order as possible, so that review goes quicker with less corrections needed overall (if any!)

You will also be able to fill out the application using firelight and then print the filled application for signatures! This way your client can still feel secure in reviewing their paperwork by hand, and you get the security of knowing a huge portion of the suitability will already be pre-reviewed by Athene!
