Colorado legislators have recently enacted several regulatory changes that impact annuity companies.
Because of these changes, a popular carrier has decided to cease sales of all Non-Qualified contracts in Colorado, effective February 1st, 2023.
This new practice will not impact the sale of Colorado tax qualified annuities (ie: IRAs and Roth IRAs).
The company plans to keep a close eye on any law changes and update their network if this should ever change.
